Epo I Tai Tai E (Maori folk song from New Zealand)
Includes: Vocal, Body Percussion, Hand Percussion, Cups, Bottles, Ukulele, Keyboard
The Māori people were settlers from eastern Polynesia (a large group of islands in the Pacific Ocean), who arrived in New Zealand in several waves of canoe (waka) voyages between around 1320 and 1350. Over several centuries in isolation, these settlers developed their own distinctive culture, whose language, mythology, crafts, music and dance became different from those of other eastern Polynesian cultures.
