Each grade 1 piece has been broken down into shorter videos that will loop (repeat automatically) so you can practise them more efficiently without having to pause and restart the video.

NOTE:      The videos are all shot at a slightly slower tempo (speed) than required for your exam – so don’t forget to practise them at the correct tempo as well (use a metronome for this when you are ready)

The first piece is Crosstown Link which is in the key of       E minor and the videos are shot at 78 BPM:

The fingers of your fretting hand will often be needed to mute the strings to stop them from sounding when you don't want them to - e.g., on the staccato notes that have a dot above or below them in the music.

The next piece is Nightride which is in the key of A major at a tempo of 105 beats per minute (BPM)

The sounds from a bass guitar are very low frequency and do not reproduce too well through the speakers on laptops/smartphones. When using these devices it should sound great if you use earphones/headphones when practising.

Again - watch out for fretting hand fingers going on and off the strings to control how long the note lasts

Whether to use finger 3 or finger 4 at the 4th fret here is often down to personal preference  - and the size of your hands. There are no strict rules, particularly if your hands are still growing.
