Addanote ™

“The other teacher in the room”

Testimonials:

What is Addanote?

Addanote is an affordable, interactive, video-based music resource designed to support both specialist and non-specialist teachers in delivering whole class instrumental lessons effortlessly. Unlike other resources, Addanote works by reducing and managing cognitive load, ensuring students can learn faster, retain more, and stay engaged without feeling overwhelmed.

We believe our groundbreaking, patented system easily outperforms other music resources by making music education simpler, smarter, and more effective.

How does Addanote work?

Our expertly modelled videos follow a step-by-step, note-by-note Watch-Listen-Play format, keeping students fully engaged while preventing errors and boosting motivation.

Each video is optimized between 3-6 minutes—the ideal length to sustain focus and build confidence without cognitive overload.  Sequential, incremental learning that reinforces prior knowledge.  Visually intuitive, using close-up shots to demonstrate technique and timing. Brief, digestible segments (usually around two bars of music) for immediate success.

This efficient structure (including carefully curated silent pauses) frees teachers to focus on classroom management and individual student support while ensuring high engagement, better attention, and greater musical progress.

Currently available for keyboards, guitar, glockenspiel, ukulele, body percussion, and hand percussion, Addanote is the future of interactive music education.
